Prestige Series
Designed to maintain the appearance of your home, Prestige Series Films combine reflectivity that’s actually lower than glass with films that allow up to 70% of the light into your home. The only thing you’ll see day or night, inside or out, is a beautiful window.
Safety & Security
Safety and Security Window Films help to protect your home and your family from threats such as break-ins, hurricanes or tornados. They are designed to help hold glass fragments together, reducing potential injury from flying glass during severe weather, and creating a stronger barrier to slow down criminals. Safety and Security Window Films are available in clear, safety-only versions, or as a combination film with both sun control and safety features.
Night Vision
Night Vision window films help block the sun’s damaging UV rays, reduce glare, and reject up to 73% of the sun’s heat. These darker shaded films are designed to reject solar heat that is produced from visible light. You can let up to 35% of the natural light into your rooms by day, and thanks to a low interior reflectivity, still enjoy the view out by night. Plus, higher exterior reflectivity means you can enjoy enhanced privacy with your windows both day and night.
Smart Film
SMART film is an electronic film designed to provide privacy at the flick of a switch…then get your view back when you need it! Instant & Precise Privacy Control; Smart Film blocks 98+% of UV rays, eco friendly, reduce fading of flooring, furniture & artwork, provides privacy when needed and is only a fraction of the cost of Smart Glass. Smart Film can be installed on existing glass surfaces. Smart Film can be controlled by a variety of methods including: wall switch, home automation, app on phone, remote control, motion sensor, voice control, light sensor or timer.
Ceramic Series
Advanced ceramics allow these films to maintain their color and appearance over time. The ceramic series films reject up to 80% of the sun’s heat-producing infrared light and block 99% of UV rays. Slightly darker than the Prestige Series products, these films allow up to 50% of the light into your home.
Architectural Window Films
Architectural window films with stripes, squares and a variety of patterns. Films that provide semi obscurity with elegant design. Perfect for semi-privacy, decorative or architectural applications. Excellent quality of product and installation service!
I really enjoyed working with General Solar and will certainly use their services again if there is a need. They did some initial work for us a while back when we were using contractor services - it was a flawless job then. Recently I decided to apply film to additional windows; thought there was a misunderstanding and the film was not applied exactly as I'd expect, General Solar returned to address all the concerns and was very flexible - this was much appreciated and shows the high level of professionalism! Highly recommend.

We are very satisfied with the performance of the personnel we dealt with from General Solar Co. from the beginning of the job to its completion. We had two crews working on our window film replacement. Both came at the scheduled time and wore face masks which was a prerequisite by our building HOA for all contractors working here. The film installers were professional, very meticulous, and took all discarded materials.
All the above could not be accomplished without the assistance of Ms. Laura. She patiently changed the schedule a few times due to our medical problems. She coordinated the whole project, courteously and customer-oriented.

I had tinting put on the glass on the side of my home where there is the afternoon sun. General Solar was easy to work with. Everyone from the office staff to the installers were very professional and easy to work with. Installers cleaned up after finishing the job. I highly recommend them and would use them again.
